What to do: Young Falconer Experience

Become a Young Falconer for the day at the Trust. Join us for a three hour session, and follow the typical pattern of a falconer’s day, including:

  •      looking after a bird section.
  •      weighing and feeding birds.
  •      training young birds.
  •      handling and flying a variety of bird species.
  •      trying your hand at swinging a lure.
  •      learning how to track a radio transmitter.
  •      present your own flying display.

This is a fun and educational day for children to learn about birds of prey and the work of the Trust.

Participants must be aged 12-15 years. These days are held on specific dates on weekends and school holidays throughout the year. Soft drinks are included. This experience can be purchased as a gift voucher that is valid for 12 months

Current price: £59.50 per child (Adult admission not included).
