The Hawk Conservancy Trust can provide speakers for your business functions or corporate events. There are three talks available:
Wildebeest in the Potting Shed is a nostalgic look at the history of the Trust and features some of the people, mammals and birds that have been involved from its early days as a wildlife park to its current standing as an award winning tourist attraction and conservation charity.
Andover to Africa: A fun talk based on a young falconer's experience of working at the Trust, from presenting and flying birds to over 50,000 visitors a year, to working on vital conservation projects around the world.
Raptor Casualty gives an entertaining and interactive look behind the scenes of Hilary's Bird of Prey Hospital. It is full of heart breaking and heart warming stories about some of the 200 patients a year that the Trust admits.
Each talk lasts approximately one hour, with a question and answer period afterwards. A slideshow can also be incorporated with the talk.
The cost of providing a speaker will be as follows: for talks within the Andover or Devizes areas, a minimum donation of £50.00 to the Hawk Conservancy Trust; for talks outside the above areas, a minimum donation of £75.00 to the Hawk Conservancy Trust plus travel expenses.
All proceeds (excluding travel) go directly to funding the work of the Hawk Conservancy Trust.
