Book your Christmas meal in the Griffon Rooms and, over a glass of mulled wine, meet and hold some of the feathered stars at the Trust.
We offer a selection of traditional Christmas dishes for you to enjoy, using fresh, locally sourced produce.

Warming glass of mulled wine on arrival
Starter
Smoked salmon and prawns served on a bed of crisp lettuce with a Marie Rose sauce and granary bread
Parma ham and mozzarella served on a rocket salad
Homemade sweet potato and tomato soup with a crusty roll and butter
Farmhouse pâté served with homemade tangy onion chutney and melba toast
Main Course
Traditional roast turkey, with chipolata, stuffing and cranberry sauce
Chicken stuffed with brie in a mushroom and wine sauce
Roast beef served with a Yorkshire pudding and horseradish
Roast salmon with cherry tomatoes, green beans and potatoes
Nut roast served with seasonal vegetables
All served with roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Dessert
Christmas pudding served with brandy sauce
Homemade mulled wine trifle served with cream
Homemade chocolate mousse served with shortbread biscuits
Homemade Strawberry Cheesecake
Selection of cheeses, biscuits and grapes (£1:50 supplement)
