The Corporate Room was booked for a surprise 21st birthday party. It came as a big surprise to Jimmy when he was asked to help set up the room for the event - only to find that he was the birthday boy!

A new Brahminy Kite arrived from Whipsnade Zoo to provide company for our display bird Woodfrey.

7th Dec

Two of the Trust's Harris Hawks were sent on loan to Birdworld in Farnham.

A Christmas Party was held in the Corporate Room at the Trust for our Volunteers to say thank you to them for all their help during the season.

10th Dec
A meeting was held with training managers of the RSPCA to modify the training courses that the Trust provides for new inspectors.
Falconer James Robinson attended a one day First Aid training course.
11th Dec
A Corporate event was held for members of staff from HMS Collingwood.
12th Dec

A Corporate event was held for Smith Kline Beecham.

13th Dec
Falconer Jimmy Robinson gave a talk about the Trust and its history to the Salisbury Astronomical Society. He was a last minute replacement for Ashley, who was taken ill in the afternoon, but the evening was a great success and enjoyed by all.

Sam Hunt started work installing nestboxes in the local area for the Trust's Fund A Bird Scheme.

Only a skeleton staff remained at the Trust, but still enjoyed the festive spirit with crackers over a cooked breakfast supplied by volunteer Julianne.

This was the first time that the Trust had ever been open during the Christmas period, and it proved to be a busy weekend.

Throughout the month work has progressed on the new aviaries and around the ground, albeit slowly. This was due to low staff levels as a result of holidays and the flu bug that swept the country and laid low most of the Trust staff.
