Kim & Gale visited High Wycombe Golf Course for a photo session and presentation of a fundraising cheque for the hospital.

The Trust helped to rescue a swan that had mistaken a wet road for a river in a local village. Mike, who has previous experience of working with the species, lent a hand to shepherd it safely back to the local river.

Hospital Manager, Kim Kirkbride and Chief Scientific Officer, Campbell Murn, attended the annual conference of the British Wildlife Rehabilitation Council, at Writtle College in Essex. Campbell gave a presentation about the Trust’s Tawny Owl rehabilitation project.

A light hearted moment during the evacuation chair training
Staff were trained in the use of an evacuation chair for the Griffon Rooms in the event of the lift being out of action in an emergency.

Gary released the young Peregrine Falcon that he had been training to be rehabilitated back to the wild. It was fitted with a small transmitter so that its progress could be monitored.

Ashley and Tracey travelled to the annual BIAZA awards ceremony held at the spectacular Knowsley Hall, home of Lord Derby. The Trust won two major awards - best research project (young Tawny Owl release) and best PR project (honey buzzard) for small collections. There were also successes in the photographic competition with three awards.

Lou Ritchie made an outreach visit to St Neots school.

BCOT held their second training session here.

Henge Consultancy held an all day course in the Griffon Rooms.

More than forty members came along for a leaf raking day at the Trust and, with a mammoth effort, managed to clear the whole park of leaves by sunset
