We aim to ensure that everyone who visits the Trust has a rewarding and enjoyable experience. If you need any assistance to enable you to make the most of your visit then please do not hesitate to let us know.

To increase the font size on our website simply use CTRL key (or Command key on a Macintosh) and + (plus symbol) or – (minus symbol) to suit your needs. If you have a mouse with a wheel you can increase and decrease the size of your fonts in your browser by holding down the CTRL key or Command key on a Macintosh) and, while continuing to hold down the key, move the mouse wheel up or down.

Visitors with disabilities may invite one accompanying carer free of charge, please bring relevant proof of entitlement (Disability Living Allowance letter or book (issued by the DWP benefit office) or Blue Badge.

A large print welcome sheet is available in the Trust shop on arrival for those with a visual impairment. We also have large print menus in Feathers Restaurant. Please request a copy from one of our members of staff.

We try to ensure that all food sensitivities are catered for in the restaurant. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.

For wheelchair users we have tarmac paths around the grounds and level access to all public buildings. We have special wheelchair friendly viewing areas in the flying grounds and the hides.  A limited number of manual wheelchairs are available for free loan, and three powered scooters can be used for a minimum £1.00 donation towards Shopmobility. Please contact the Trust office to pre-book use of the chairs.

There are designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders adjacent to the main entrance and an accessible toilet is located in Feathers Restaurant and in the outdoor courtyard beside the Trust shop. Baby changing facilities are also available in Feathers Restaurant.

Benches and seating areas can be located throughout the grounds for rest breaks.

Assistance dogs are permitted at the Trust but please keep them away from the aviaries as they may frighten our birds.
