What to see: Heron and Red Kite feed

Hero in the meadow
Wild Red Kite flying over the meadow

At 11:00am and at 4:30pm each day there is a wild bird feed in Reg’s Meadow, at the top of the grounds.

Our keepers go out into the meadow and ring an old hand-held bell – much like the ones used in school playgrounds – to let our resident Herons, Red Kites and Buzzards know that it’s feed-time!

You are most welcome to witness this incredible spectacle from the viewing hides. Binoculars are supplied in the hides.
