-
Minimum age for children attending this course is 6 years
old. Adults are classed as aged 16 or over.
-
Family fun sessions are limited to one family at each session.
-
These sessions are available at weekends and school holidays
only. Due to this they do book up very quickly, often several months in
advance, so it is advisable to book early. Please note that during the winter
season (November–February) Family Fun Sessions will only take place
in the morning due to lighting conditions in the afternoon.
-
Please book your experience session before the expiry date
on the voucher , or you will forfeit your day and any monies paid.
-
Once you have booked your experience session, we ask that
you phone the main office after 2pm on the previous day to check if weather
conditions will affect it going ahead.
-
Please note that we cannot accept cancellations at less
than seven working days notice. If you cancel after this time, you will
forfeit your experience session and any monies that have been paid.
-
It may be necessary for the Trust to cancel your experience
session at short notice , due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs
we will do our best to offer you an acceptable alternative date. Please
note that experience sessions are a mainly outdoor activity and will only
be cancelled in extreme weather conditions.
-
The Trust recognises that some guests may have larger families
and may wish to bring an additional guest on the course. For this reason
additional guests can take part on the course for an additional cost of
£55 per adult and £45 per child. A maximum of 6 people in total
may attend the course.
-
No other additional guests will be able to join you on the
course for any other reason including taking photographs. Any person accompanying
who is not on the course, can be admitted after 10.30am when the park opens
to the general public, and can enjoy the full range of activities the Trust
offers (normal ticket prices).
-
Please wear comfortable clothing, nothing too bright, and
bring a waterproof in case of inclement weather.
-
The Trust is more than happy for photos to be taken a memento
of your day, so please bring a camera. Your hosts will be on hand to take
photos of you with the birds.
-
All training and equipment required for sessions, and tea/coffee/
soft drinks are included in the cost of the day.
-
Gift Vouchers are non refundable, however if the gift recipient
family is unable to attend it the voucher may be transferred to another
family.
