This Peregrine Falcon is working with a lure held at some height suspended from a kite line. Disk tells us "The lure is at about 600 feet above ground level. The next phase of training is to release the lure once the bird has got the necessary height in the hopes the falcon will stoop to it.Photo taken at a display at the Isle of Wight County show 20 July 2003.". |
