The first round of judging the readers' photographs is now complete.
A panel of three judges - The Hawk Conservancy's Director, official Photographer and Webmaster have considered all of the photographs. We were all impressed with the very high standard of all the entries, and should like to pay tribute to the skills displayed and to thank you for allowing us to display your work.
Selecting five photographers to go through for final judging was not an easy task, and in arriving at a compromise, each of us sacrificed a couple of favourites. Judging photographs is a very subjective task and, those that were not included in the final five can take comfort from the fact that many were so close!
The final five are, in alphabetic order, Andrew Cawte, Duncan Jennings, Steven Noyes, Steve Shuttleworth and Paul Tiller. Congratulations to you all.
The final judging, which will take place shortly, will be carried out by Antony Rhodes B.A.(Hons)., Wildlife Artist & Falconer. The winning entries will be chosen and notified before Christmas.| Home | | Ticket Shop | | contact us | | legal | | privacy | | bibliography | |
