Adopt a Bald Eagle

Adopt a Bald Eagle – Meet Danebury!

If you’d like to adopt an eagle, the most powerful type of raptor, then Danebury the Bald Eagle is the iconic bird of prey for you!

Danebury has lived at the Hawk Conservancy Trust since 1993, and is a veteran in our flying displays. He flies beautifully, with elegance and grace as he soars the skies across Reg’s Wildflower Meadow at the Trust.

Danebury has a very gentle manner – surprisingly so for a Bald Eagle. He is a lovely bird to work with. However, he does have a naughty side, and can be quite cheeky when he wants to be! He is a stunning bird, with the iconic white plumage of a Bald Eagle around his head. It can take Bald Eagles up to five years to develop these feathers, and are covered in brown feathers before this.

If you would like to adopt a Bald Eagle – especially one that’s cheeky – adopt Danebury, our Bald Eagle, today!
