Photographic Workshop with Oliver Smart

Sunday 15th September 2013 @ 10.00am

Oliver is a top wildlife photographer regularly travelling the world on photography expeditions or leading photographic workshops. His work is regularly featured in many wildlife journals including: ‘British Birds’, ‘Bird Watching’ and ‘Bird Watch’ and writes for a number of publications.
Oliver's workshop has been designed for wildlife enthusiasts who wish to improve their photography and to learn more about the techniques involved by experimenting with trained birds. This understanding can then be put into practice with wild birds or other wildlife subjects. In addition two members of the Hawk Conservancy Trust team will handle the birds and will explain to guests about the species featured in the workshop, their habitats and lifestyle in the wild.
A basic knowledge of photography would be beneficial but Oliver is on hand to assist with the key factors in getting great shots, and can give expert instruction on composition, camera controls or lighting. He will also create natural sets with a variety of props that will help to gain the best results on the day.
Price: £145.00 per course – includes lunch/refreshments (Course limited to 12 people).
