Set within 22 acres of stunning countryside, the Hawk Conservancy Trust is an award-winning visitor attraction which is open every day* and offers a full day out for all ages. Arrive early and be sure to see our world-class flying displays throughout the day, and many other activities in between.
*Except during most of January, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
The Hawk Conservancy Trust is closed until further notice
Due to the national lockdown currently in place until 15 February, we will not be able to go ahead with our January events.
Our Winter Woodland Lights event has been postponed. We will hold the event at a different time when the restrictions have been relaxed. We will contact all those booked once the dates have been rearranged to re-book them.
If you are booked onto our Behind-the-scenes Winter Experiences, our team will be in contact to rearrange these sessions.
When we re-open, pre-booking your visit is essential (for members and non-members). To allow for social distancing at the Trust, we must restrict the number of visitors coming to the Trust. Pre-book your tickets here. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Children can get really close to one of our birds of prey and get that memorable shot with one of these beautiful and popular birds.
Come and meet our cute and curious Burrowing Owls. You can get up close and find out all about these small, long-legged owls from the prairies and grasslands of North and South America.
Let the little ones let off steam in our fantastic NEW bird of prey themed playground. A pleasant spot for Mums and Dads to sit and watch them play, reassured they are always in sight.
During the summer, witness this incredible spectacle, using the binoculars supplied in the viewing hides, as our bird team go out into Reg’s Meadow, ring an old hand bell to signal to local wild Herons, Red Kites and Buzzards and offer them a daily feed. (During winter timetable only)
Inspire curious little minds with our pond dipping sessions. Explore an underwater world in our pond on-site and be amazed at the various creatures you can find! (During weekends and school holidays Easter-September, weather permitting.)
