From mid-February to the end of March, and from mid-September to the end of October 2008, we hold our 'Owls by Moonlight' evenings. An opportunity to see our owls really awake and at their best. These will take place on Friday and Saturdays, and will commence at 7pm.

The evenings will start with a hot supper (a vegetarian option is available) followed by chocolate brownies and tea/coffee, after which you will be divided into small groups and allocated to one of our guides who will take you to see the different owls.

After the guided tour, the highlight of the evening will be two flying demonstrations, one of which takes place in our new illuminated woodland arena where various species of owls will swoop low above your head as they fly from branch to branch. You will have the opportunity to hold an owl at the end of the display.

Please book your places early as numbers are strictly limited. So put on some warm clothes, pack a torch and step out in the dark with the owls.

If you have any special dietary requirements - vegetarian, gluten free, allergies etc. - please inform us prior to the event to pre-book an alternative meal.

Please note that we shall not be able to cater for any special needs on the night of the event, unless pre-booked.

The cost is £29.50 per adult and £16.00 per child. This includes a voluntary 10% donation towards the work of our Bird of Prey Hospital and enables the Trust, if you agree and are a UK taxpayer, to claim an additional 25% back from the Inland Revenue. If you do not wish to support this project the non Gift Aid prices are £27.36 and £15.09 respectively. Please book your places early as numbers are strictly limited.

The quoted price includes £5.00 for refreshments, which is paid to the Hawk Conservancy Trust Trading Company.

These evenings are available for corporate entertainment, birthdays, anniversaries or any other special occasion, on Wednesday evenings only, with a minimum of 20 paying adults in a group.

Once booked, we reserve the right to cancel the evening in the event of bad weather and re-arrange. Please note that Owls by Moonlight is an outdoor event and will only be cancelled in the event of severe weather conditions. Please note that tickets for Owls by Moonlight are non refundable.

You may also purchase tickets and gift vouchers from our online Ticket Shop. Please give three preferred dates. We shall attempt to place you in your first preferred date, but if that evening is fully booked, we shall book you into your second or third choice. Please be aware that dates tend to fill rather quickly, so it is advisable to call the office on 01264 773850, 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday to check availablility and reserve your places.

All items ordered will be dispatched by First Class post within 2-3 days of your order. However if your order is urgent we can arrange special (next day) delivery at extra cost. Please add this postage option to your purchase.

We are now able to release more tickets for each evening, as a result of which some dates which were closed are now available again!
