What's on at the Trust and Daily Timetable

Main season - Winter season

(Main season February - October)

11.30am Vulture Restaurant

Vulture feed and Falconers talk. Watch how the birds interact with each other, and learn about the work the Trust is carrying out with endangered vultures around the world.

12.00pm World of Raptors (lower flying grounds)

A thirty five minute display featuring a wide range of Birds of Prey from around the world. There is an opportunity to hold a British Bird of Prey after this display.

2.00pm Valley of the Eagles ( Reg’s Meadow)

A spectacular 40 minute display where eagles, kites and vultures fill the sky. Watch wild raptors joining in the display.
(During certain times during the season there will be the opportunity to walk the meadow or take a trip on the Raptor Safari tractor and trailor ride.)

3.00pm Adults fly a Harris Hawk (aged 16 or over only)

3.30pm Woodland Hawks and Owls (Woodland arena)

A 35 minute flying display featuring a team of birds of prey whose natural habitat would be in a woodland setting.

4.30pm Red Kite and Heron feed

Watch wild Red Kites, Buzzards, Kestrels, Herons and a whole range of other birds and wildlife coming into the meadow to feed.

(Winter season November - February, weekends only)

10:30am Open

10:30am - 12:00 noon Meet Clive in the study centre and have a go at a wide range of hands on activities for all the family including: owl pellet dissection, bird of prey identification sessions by sight and sound, and fun family quizzes.

11:00am Wild Red Kite and Heron Feed from the hides.

11:30am Vulture Feed and keepers talk.

12:00 noon Flying display in Lower flying grounds featuring a team of birds from around the world. Holding bird session takes place after this display.

1:00pm -1:45pm Meet Clive in the study centre (see above).

2:00pm Woodland Hawk and Owl display in the new woodland arena.

3:00pm Adults fly a Harris Hawk (aged 16 or over only)

3:30pm Flying Display. This display will be held in the lower flying arena. Holding bird session after this display.

4:30pm Close
