The Hawk Conservancy Trust offers two unique venues for your wedding reception.
Our corporate facility, the Griffon Rooms, is spread over two floors, allowing ample room for your drinks reception and the wedding breakfast itself.
The Eyrie, located on the first floor of the Griffon Rooms, has the benefit of a balcony, which is the perfect location for drinks and the chance to enjoy one of the Trust's bird of prey flying displays. Here your guests can also enjoy the opportunity of flying a hawk to the fist. The Griffon Rooms can accommodate 55 guests for a seated reception and 70 for a standing reception (over both floors).
For larger, evening, receptions we also offer Feathers Restaurant. This purpose built venue is light, bright and airy, offering direct access from our ample parking areas. Seating 100 guests, this space can be adapted to provide all the requirements of an evening reception from 'meet and greet areas' to a dance floor - for that all important first dance. The venue has an inviting patio area with additional outside seating that is illuminated for evening events.
The Trust is fully licensed and can provide a range of catering options from a simple buffet to a multiple-course meal.
In addition we can provide special events to compliment your day, including handling and flying sessions with a range of birds, private flying display and keeper’s talks about the work of the Trust. During the day your guests will also have full access to view the Trust’s grounds, over 100 birds of prey and three exciting flying displays. We can also arrange for illuminated Owls By Moonlight evening displays.
If you are looking for unusual gift for your partner, bridesmaids, best man, or Mother of the Bride, we have a wide range of gift ideas from bird of prey sponsorships, hands-on experience sessions and Owls by Moonlight evenings.
So, if you are looking for an unusual location for a stress free occasion, our attentive and helpful staff are here to help.
Please contact the Trust to discuss your personal requirements.
