Friends of our Birds
Just what Friends are for
Our sponsorship scheme proved so successful that we have introduced a “Friends” scheme.
Becoming a Friend of a Bird not only directly contributes to the work of the Trust, but also provides an unusual gift for both adults and children for any occasion. Friendships for a Bird can be purchased by an individual, family, group or company and is valid for one year from date of purchase.
By becoming a Friend of a Bird you are directly contributing directly towards the day-to-day costs of care of your chosen bird, including feeding, maintenance and veterinary costs, thereby releasing valuable resources to fund our conservation projects.
Don't forget, if you are a UK taxpayer and agree to Gift Aid your subscription fees, the Hawk Conservancy Trust can reclaim the tax back from the Inland Revenue, currently .28p in every £1.00.
The Friend of a Bird scheme is renewable on an annual basis, and our birds can have an unlimited number of Friends, in fact, the more the merrier!
As a Friend of a Bird you will receive a photo certificate, a bird biography, a complimentary ticket for one adult to visit the Trust and a year's subscription to our Member's newsletter, HawkTalk. An acknowledgement will be displayed in the grounds at the Trust to show your support of the scheme. Friendship fees range from £40.00.
The Friendship scheme also applies to the other animals at the Trust, including the ferrets, ducks, horses and donkeys.
