The management team met to plan the offical launch of the new Griffon Rooms. Trustee Chris Packham will perform the official opening, which is being sponsored by Festo Management Training.
28th Aug
Newbury Town Council staff held a private Owls By Moonlight evening at the Trust

Throughout the month Ashley and Trustee John Ellicock met several times to finalize the Trust's Strategic Plan. This sets out the organisation's plans and objectives for the next 10 years, and gives everyone at the Trust something to work towards. Once the wording is finished it will be sent to the Board of Trustees for final approval.

The month of August was fairly quiet, due mainly to the weather. It was the wettest August on record and this was reflected in the reduced visitor numbers. Everyone at the Trust is now hoping for an Indian summer to put the smiles back on our faces.
