Dreamnight images - facepainting and tractor rides
The Trust's second Dreamnight for local disadvantaged children took place. Although numbers were lower than expected, everyone who attended had a great time. Food and drinks were provided by local WI's and local companies, and guests were entertained by the Wyvern Dance Band on arrival. In attendance were face painters, magicians, a gun dog display team; and everyone had the chance to hold a rabbit, take a tractor ride, have their photo taken with an owl and play the American game of cornhole. The evening ended with a display in Reg's meadow and the chance to take home a goody bag.
Volunteer Lou Richie provided an outreach visit to Longparish School.

The Trust was heavily involved at the Festival of Falconry. They were involved in the education tent, providing sessions on owl pellet dissection and egg crushing, as well as a children's quiz. In the conservation tent we provided displays about the Trust's conservation projects around the world, and screened footage of our work in Africa, and of the Honey Buzzard release. In addition the Trust also had a trade shop selling Trust merchandise.

The meadow looked stunning this month, probably the best it has ever looked. It was a wealth of colour and the smell of the wild marjoram filled the air. On most days the sky was full of butterflies visiting the flowers.
