We believe that handling birds of prey is the best way to appreciate their beauty and character, so we offer a range of flying experiences to suit all ages that enable guests to get close to and learn more about raptors, and enjoy being in their company.
These sessions are not intended to teach practical falconry, but are set at the pace of the guests on the day, where they will learn some basic handling skills and have an insight into the work of the Hawk Conservancy Trust.
The experience sessions could include handling and flying a range of birds of prey, such as owls, vultures, hawks and eagles, and are run in an intimate group of no more than five participants.
We also offer photographic days for both amateur and professional photographers, where we can set up shots for you of various the different species of raptor.
Our flying experience days can be purchased as gift vouchers, which are valid for 12 months, for individuals, couples or families and make interesting and unusual presents for birthdays or Christmas.
