A Day with Birds of Prey - Booking Conditions

  1. Sessions are run every day from 16th February 2008 until the end of October 2008, and then weekends from November 2008 to February 2009. subject to availability. The days must be pre-booked. These days book up very quickly, especially weekends -and often several months in advance, so it is advisable to book early. To book your day please phone our main office number selecting option 6, between 9am and 5pm weekdays, with details of the date you require and your gift voucher number. At the time of booking please let us know about any disabilities, special needs or dietary requirements.
  2. Sessions can be booked for a specific day or can be purchased as a Gift Voucher that is valid for 10 months , allowing the guest to choose their day with us.
  3. Please ensure that you book your Day with Birds of Prey before the expiry date on the voucher, or you will forfeit your day and any money paid.
  4. Once you have booked your day, we ask that you phone the main office number after 2pm on the previous day to check if weather conditions will affect it going ahead.
  5. Please note that we cannot accept cancellations at less than seven working days' notice. If you cancel after this time, you will forfeit your day and any money that has been paid.
  6. It may be necessary for the Trust to cancel a Day with Birds of Prey session at short notice, due to foul weather or other circumstances outside the Trust's control. If this occurs, we shall optionally offer you a mutually acceptable alternative date. Please note that the Day with Birds of Prey is a an outdoor activity and therefore will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions.
  7. Please note that only the person named as attendee may attend. No guests are permitted for any reason including taking photographs. Any person accompanying you who is not on the course, cannot be admitted until 10.30am when the park opens to the general public, and normal ticket prices will apply. Accompanying guests may meet up with you for lunch. They should inform a member of staff on arrival, to ensure spaces are allocated, and normal menu prices will apply.
  8. Up to two guests per attendee may watch the Harris Hawk Flying session during the experience day. Please advise your host on the day if you have any guests who wish to attend, and you will be advised of a time and meeting place.
  9. Please wear comfortable clothing, not too bright, and bring a waterproof in case of inclement weather.
  10. The Trust is more than happy for guests to take photographs as a memento of their day, so please bring a camera. Your hosts will be on hand to take photos of you with the birds.
  11. All training and equipment required are included in the cost of your day.
  12. All Gift Vouchers are non refundable, however if the gift recipient is unable to attend they maybe transferred to another individual.
