You will be met at the Trust’s reception by your two hosts. After a brief introduction to your fellow guests and a run through of the course itinerary, your experience session will begin. The experience session is limited to a maximum of 4 guests, to ensure a more intimate and personal experience. There will be the opportunity to fly several species of owl from both Britain and around the world during your session, and learn about the conservation work carried out by the Trust.
During a break for tea/coffee you will be joined by one of the Trust’s Barn Owls, and have the opportunity to view this stunning bird at close quarters. This is not an intensive course, but a taster session to learn more about owls and the work of the Trust, and is set at the pace of the guests on the day. The sessions run from 10am - 1pm only on the first weekend of the month. You are more than welcome to remain at the Trust once your morning session is over, enjoy lunch at Duffy's (not included) and the 2pm Valley of the Eagles display.
