Birds of prey make wonderful subjects for photography. At the Hawk Conservancy Trust we can cater for both the professional and enthusiastic amateur on our photographic days.

During 2008 we will be holding photographic days at the Hawk Conservancy Trust on 17th & 28th May; 4th, 20th & 23rd June; 7th & 22nd July and 6th September. These days are very popular and sell out quite quickly, so be sure to check that your preferred date is available before booking. All dates to and including 7th July are fully booked.

There are a wide variety of species available for our guests to photograph including: kites, owls, eagles, falcons and vultures. You will be looked after by 2 experienced members of our staff, who will be on hand to set up shots of a variety of indigenous, and non indigenous raptors. During the day you will have the opportunity to get close to the birds, and photograph them in natural surroundings including woodland grounds and our award winning chalkdownland wildflower meadow.

Every effort is made to arrange that perfect shot

During the photographic sessions, you will also learn about the conservation work of the Trust.

Each day is limited to a maximum of 10 people (16 years and over), and will start at 10am, finishing at 5pm.

A hearty lunch is provided which can be taken on the balcony of our corporate room, allowing guests to get a birds eye view of our 12 o'clock demonstration.

Lunch, tea and coffee are included in the cost, and if you have any special dietary needs, please could you let us know beforehand.

The cost of the Photographic Day is £125 per person for the day.
