Looking for a Mothering Sunday lunch with a difference?

Spend Mother’s Day at the Hawk Conservancy Trust for a celebration to remember! Enjoy a delicious three-course lunch prepared by our expert chefs in our Griffon Rooms.

This special lunch will take place in-between our stunning flying displays, giving you a chance to relax and enjoy watching our beautiful birds soar the skies as part of your day.

To confirm your booking, please email jemma@hawkconservancy.org with the names and that special someone you are bringing along, both of your dinner choices from the above menu (food choices must be pre-booked ahead of Sunday 15 March) and if there any any dietary requirements that we need to know about.

Did you know?
The Secretary Bird’s name could originate from two theories. The first is that it looks are like the old-fashioned secretaries who carried quill pens behind their ears. Alternatively, it could come from the Arabic ‘saqr-et-tair’. Saqr means ‘hunter’ or ‘hawk’ and tair means ‘flight’ or ‘bird’.
