Watching our birds fly in the evening is a truly wonderful experience – even more so at the most magical time of the year! Bring the whole family along for some festive fun at an evening event this year. From mystical owl flights to feel-good carolling, and even a special visit from Father Christmas, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this winter! These events are extremely popular, and last year they sold out! So be sure to book as early as possible to guarantee your space!

Delight in locally-produced, hand-crafted products from stall holders who will each supply an array of gifts for your loved ones. Whilst you peruse, enjoy a tipple of mulled wine, a tasty mince pie or treat from the barbeque!
Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 December
Sing along with Christmas carols, both traditional and modern, under the night sky accompanied by band and choir. We’ll also introduce you to the magical world of owls as you witness our beautiful owls twist and turn in the night sky and skim silently over the top of your head.
Thursday 21 and Friday 22 December
Father Christmas, his magical team of owls and Evergreen the mischievous Elf will be back for another special family event this Christmas. Each child will receive a gift and the event will include an enchanting show featuring our owls.

Visiting the Hawk Conservancy Trust over the winter is a very special experience. Our grounds feel calm, and our winter birds are taking to the sky. Come and visit us this winter for different experience!
As we enter the cooler months, our team of winter birds return to flying duties in our three world-class daily flying displays. These cooler days are often quieter, so our birds really will come close! Enjoy seeing Sirius the Striated Caracara show off his intelligence, Sweeney Todd the Snowy Owl glide silently overhead, and maybe even get the chance to see our Golden Eagle Saxon soar over Reg’s Wildflower Meadow!
Make your visit to the Hawk Conservancy Trust even more festive this winter with a delicious Christmas Meal in feathers Restaurant?! We’ll be cooking up a feast, with a range of options to choose from, so you can warm up with friends and family after seeing our birds fly. We are taking bookings for December 14, 15 and 16.
During the winter, we offer the rare chance for you and a companion to have an exclusive experience with either Cédric or Ben from our Bird Team as your host! Whilst the Trust grounds are closed you will be granted special access to areas not normally open to the public, helping to feed and fly some of our incredible birds. With an expert at your fingertips, you’ll be able to ask everything you wish to know about the Trust, and working with our impressive birds.
There’s still ways to support us this Christmas, even if you’re doing your Christmas shopping elsewhere! Here are some suggestions of how you can support our work as a conservation charity but, if you would like to help us in any other way, please get in touch.
