Booking information for your visit

Thank you for considering a visit to the Hawk Conservancy Trust.  Pre-booking your visit is advised (for members and non-members).  Before booking or visiting, please read our terms and conditions.

IMPORTANT WEATHER UPDATE:

Due to the Red Warning for Extreme Heat forecast, we will be closed on Wednesday 24 & Thursday 25 June in the interests of your safety.

For those visiting Tuesday 23 June we will be making some modifications to make you comfortable. Displays will be a little shorter and we’ll be maximising shady spots. We will be serving sandwiches and salads only in the restaurant, with plenty of cold drinks and ice-cream stocks. Water will be readily available to refill water bottles, and hats and sun screen will be available in the shop if you forget.

Please be reassured that we will be taking extra measures to keep our animals and teams safe and cool during the heat.

Did you know?
The Turkey Vulture is most famous for its well-developed sense of smell and ability to find carcasses beneath the forest canopy. Because of this, they’re often followed by other scavengers like Black Vultures, which often try to steal their food.
