This is an activity strictly for the grown-ups! Adults have the opportunity to have a Harris’ Hawk fly to their fist, in our Hawk Flying Arena.

Feel the thrill of having this magnificent raptor fly to you from its post.

One of our friendly bird staff will be on hand to lend you a glove and show you what to do.

There is no charge for this activity.

Amur Falcons are one of the world's longest distance migrants. They travel from South Africa (wintering) to northern China (breeding), and they can fly more than 3000km (more than 1800 miles) over water in one go by flying for 2-3 days non-stop!
